I'm having trouble uploading any of my animations in IE7 or FF2 running windows xp sp2, latest updates on browser and os. NOt sure why the sudden difficulty, I used to be able to upload fine.
Most of the problems seem to occur from the particular codec used to compress your video. If at all possible I would suggest saving it off again using a different codec (sorenson usually seems to work well). Also if it is a quicktime perhaps try making it an AVI or vis versa.
Another possibility is the resolution of the original file. Usually if you keep it to standard video resolutions and aspect you will have better results. So sizes such as 720 x 480 , 640 x 480, 320 x 240 etc seem to work really well.
Hope this helps.
OK, I'm working on a PC, and I've tried loading QT and AVI's at 640X480. Nothing works, just says "errors uploading files, try again later." I have DSL. Tried different times of day with same results. Help!
Mine seem to be uploading, but are not visible at all. When I go to my profile page, I see that I have uploaded two animations. When I go to view all, it says I've uploaded no animation. Also, in the group entry area, the title of mine shows up, but no thumbnail, and clicking it yeilds an endless loading screen.
I have the same problem as kengwin has. I checked the edit my page -> animation tag. It seems like my animation is stuck in the "encoding" status for erm 3 days now. I uploaded my animation around 2pm on the 22nd, and I thought the encoding process will take a while... but it never went through.

depends on system?

I've had trouble on the Mac, not on the PC. Good thing I have an Intel Mac so I can switch over.
