I'm Travis, I'm from Sacramento and go to school in Chico. I attended the SummerArts animation workshop in 2005 and it was a blast. Definitely the best experience I've had as a student. This year is going to be awesome!
I can't wait to work hard and party with all of ya for two straight weeks.
P.S. Check out ScottWashi's artwork titled "Life Drawing 16". The model he drew is amazing; pretty much the greatest model to ever exist.
...just call my nammmmmeeeeeee, and i'll be there.
I just graduated from Chico state and plan on using what I learn at summer arts to help me learn more about animation and in turn put together a much better demo reel than the one I already have.
And Travis, you must have a thing for males models. I remember you getting weak in the knees seeing them; but hey, I'm not here to judge.
must make a pact; we must bring salvation back; where there is love; I'll be there ...
Scott you're just upset over the fact that my pose was once compared to the great Michelangelo's "David". I believe the term our professor used was "perfect".
Oh and just for the record I'm not emo as my avatar suggests, I just wish I was. I'm ever-so sad ... =*(
nice to know that the weirdness level is at "high" for this class so far.
I don't have enough hair to be emo. That, and a lot of emo bores me sick.
My names Jonathan - from CSU Chico, and also an AnimationMentor.com student (almost done with class 4). Hope to see everyone there! Especially ScottWashi...
I just finished creating my account here. I'm definitely in. I attended the Creating Comic Books class during the first 2 weeks of July, and it totally rocked! I can't wait to see what we get to do during this class!

I can't wait

Well, I'll be there. I did CSU with comic book work in 2005. It was amazing, with Scott McCloud and Jessica Abel, plus the fabulous organizer Douglas Hansen. The dorms were okay, but I was in the studio until midnight every night anyway. And the cafeteria wasn't anywhere as bad as it might have been.
So I'm Erik, from Austin, Texas (the un-Texas, sort of, no cowboy hats). I'll be in Fresno for the entire month, as I'm doing the graphic novel session in early June.
I thought this would be a good time to introduce myself, maybe get to know some of the people I'll be hanging out with, and find out how far behind I am everyone else (kidding, sort of). Anyone else doing the graphic novel thing, as well?
Let's get the chatter going, people!
