About arisu

i am a digital artist, i work primarily in photoshop, blending still photography with some digital painting (and occasionally vector graphics, 3d elements too). i live in a very quiet city, i adore my city even if i wasn't born here and inspite of the evilish people that exist here.

i love japanese stuff or asian related, but mostly have an obsession on japan and asians. am looking forward for asian girls to model for me. i have completed a multimedia course at EPMS where i collaborated with some amazing people and learnt some essential programs (i'm more comfortable in working with photoshop and macromedia director) like 3D Max, Premiere, Soundforge, Flash, Director.

i have made artwork for great musicians such as Justin Lassen and Lyua Dust.

i've been published in such magazines as Elegy Ibérica, StudioBox, PSD mag, O Mundo da Fotografia Digital, mediterraneaonline.org, IT'S ARTS magazine (with 2 images i made for musician Justin Lassen), JAPANESE mag. also made covers for WILDSIDE PRESS.

i have won some awards, too: together with some classmates we won an international award at FOOD4U 2006 video festival the unique prize of best backstage. we also won 1st & 2nd awards (category: highschool) in Challenges 2007 a national contest. i also received a honorable mention from the President of my city for entering in FOOD4U 2006. my image "disrupted unity" was Photo of the Month at Portuguese known mag O Mundo da Fotografia Digital.
