This year, our timing with [Motionfest] call-for-entries was perfect. MyToons.com had just released their new Digital Portfolio System. After taking some time to review the system, we made the decision to use this as our [global] portal for entry submissions.

The process was simple. We customized the look and feel of our MyToons.com Digital Portfolio to match our conference website. Our call-for-entries told entrants to upload their entries to their MyToons.com account and tag it with 'motionfest08' That's all we had to do!

When it came time for judging, we simply directed our judges to our MyToons.com Digital Portfolio, and asked them to select their favorites. The process was seamless. We're already making plans [to use it] again in 2009!"

Use one of our pre-made layouts, modify, or create your own from scratch

Choose what you want - or don't want - to appear on your layout

Optional Widgets You Can Add

On all widgets, you can format the text color, size, background color/image, opacity, border style, and more. You can also add the same widget as many times as you like and customize it differently each time.

Profile Widget: Edit your "About Me" text and customize the personal information you wish to display. Control the personal information you prefer, such as real name, last login, avatar, and contact methods.

Animations, Artwork, Games, Photos, and Friends Widgets: Edit/remove the widget title, and customize animation order, thumbnail size, and display information for all your uploaded animations.

Comments Widget: Edit/remove the widget title, control the number and display of comments, and more.

HTML Widget: Here's where you can really go wild! Insert your own HTML and CSS styles, or add external widgets, galleries, slide shows, and links to other sites. The possibilities are endless!

Text Widget: Add a block of text about yourself, your work, or anything else. Use it to describe your inspiration, favorite animators, or tell your page visitors more about yourself.

Image Widget: Create your own images and upload them, or point to a URL from the Internet. You can link the image to a MyToons link, such as “View all of my animations” or “Send me a friend invite,” or you can link to an external website, such as your blog, resume, or personal website. You can take it even further by adding links to your Twitter, MySpace, Facebook, or Flickr accounts – the sky's the limit.

Video Widget: Use this to feature your showreel or favorite animation! Paste embed codes from MyToons or other shareable video sites to bring life to your layout.
