Toon-Up Removal
- Just to make you more comfortable using our plug-in, we wanted to give you the instructions for removing it.
- On a PC, go to "My Computer" (can be found under the "Start" button).
- From "My Computer," select "Local Disk C," and then "Program Files." Your computer may give you a warning not to modify "Program Files," but as long as you delete only as instructed, you should be ok.
- Once in "Program Files," select the folder, "Mozilla Firefox," and then "plugins."
- Once inside "Plug-Ins," many of the icons may look similar, so pay close attention. The two items that you want to delete are "npmytoonstoonup.dll" and "nsimytoonstoonup.xpt"
- Open "Internet Explorer"
- Select "Tools"-- "Internet Options"
- Click the "Settings" button on the "General" tab
- Click the "View Objects" button on the "Settings" dialog.
- Right-click "MyToonsToonup," click "Remove," click "Yes."
If you use Internet Explorer, follow the steps listed below:
- Close your browser, and click on the "Start" button.
- Find and open the "Control Panel," and then find and open "Network Internet Connections" if you are in the Category View, or "Internet Options" if you are in the Classic View.
- In Category View, click "Set up or Change Your Internet Connection," and a dialogue box should pop up.
- It's all downhill from here. Click the "General" tab in the dialogue box, and then look in the "Temporary Internet Files" in the middle of the page.
- There, click the "Settings" button, and another dialogue box should pop up.
- Now, click "View Objects," select "Toon-Up," right-click and delete! Congratulations! You're done!
On2 Publisher ActiveX control must not be in Internet Explorer when you are attempting to remove it.
