My Start Page

Consider it your new one-stop control board – the place where you can easily manage your work, digital profile, and networking. From editing your animations and artwork to checking your new messages and friend requests, the new My Start Page is your go-to place to privately personalize your options and do things your way!

My Start Page: Once you log in to your MyToons account, you can edit everything – your animations, artwork, games, pics, profile, and more – from the "My Start Page" button located on the top right hand corner of the page. Once you've clicked the "My Start Page" button, you'll see a list of all your editing options. Below is a detailed list of your editing options:

• My Digital Portfolio - Your Digital Portfolio is a profile page with customizable widgets that allows you to design and create your online portfolio. This page includes your animations, artwork, text about yourself, your groups and friends, and all the communication with fellow MyToon-ers. • My Account Settings
  • Edit Password – Click the "Change Your Password" option in My Account Settings. Type in your current password, your new password, confirm, and hit "Save New Password."
  • Email Address – Edit your email address by clicking the option and entering your new email address.
  • Through your Account settings, you can also edit your secret question and select Mature Settings.
• My Avatar: If and when you get tired of the avatar you chose when you joined, don't worry! We offer quite a selection of custom avatars – take a look and find the one that fits you best! Have something else in mind? You can also upload your own!
• My Animations: This is where your animations live. You can upload new animations by clicking the "Upload" button at the top of the page, or you can edit or delete your existing animations. Editing animations, of course, doesn't mean edit in the sense that you can alter the animation itself, but you can change the title, the tags, and the public/privacy settings.
  • New Category and Style Feature! New animation uploads have a "Category" and "Style" that were chosen upon upload. For older animations, you have the option of editing and adding a "Category" and "Style" to your previously uploaded work.
• My Artwork: This is where your art lives – a private gallery of sorts. You have the same abilities here that you do in the Animation section; you can upload new art, as well as edit and delete existing art just like you would animations.
• My Games: This is where you'll find your Flash games. Just as in Animations and Artwork, you can upload new games, or edit and delete the existing ones.
• My Photos: This is your personal photo album! Upload new photos, or edit and delete your current photos.
• My Friends: Feelin' a bit lonely? Go check your Friends tab and see how many people are lined up at the top of your page and waiting to be your friend. None yet? Keep trying. In the meantime, you can chat with the friends already in your list. See someone you don't like? Click "Dissolve Friendship" to end it right then and there. Want to check out a friend's page? Just click on their name.
• My Groups: Groups are kind of like the coffee shops of MyToons. Here you can get together with your friends and talk about whatever you all are interested in. If you want to explore the groups that are out there, just move your cursor up to "Groups" on the main navigation bar above the tabs. You can cancel your membership to any group that you are a member of; simply click "Cancel Membership" in the upper, right-hand corner of the Group in your Membership section.
• My Comments: Overwhelmed by the plethora of information on your page? Click here to see your comments exclusively on a separate page. You can even edit your preferences so that only friends can comment, or delete certain comments altogether.
• My Messages: Your very own personal post office, the message center allows you to send and receive messages to individuals or your entire friends list – you can even censor your mail, excluding anyone who is not your friend from private messaging, or "pm-ing," you. To censor your mail so that you only receive mail from your friends, simply click the box under "Preferences" at the very top of your page, and you’re done. Right beneath that is your inbox, and any new messages should show up here. Finally, the last option allows you to fill out a message, and then choose as many or as few of your friends that you want to send it to. Want to send something extra special?
