The Ottawa International Animation Festival is right around around the corner – and we want to give all you MyTooners a chance to take part in the fun film festivities.
We’ve got five AnimaPasses to OIAF, and one just might have your name on it!

So what’s going on at Ottawa this year? OIAF has released the list of 105 films, chosen from a record breaking 2149 entries, invited to compete in this years festival – congrats to those chosen! As a proud Ottawa sponsor, we can’t wait to catch a glimpse of these selected films.
September 17 – 21, Aaron Augenblick and Koji Yamamura are returning to the fest, in addition to an anniversary screening of Who Framed Roger Rabbit? Also on the OIAF agenda: retrospectives on Jonas Odell, Christopher Mills, and Michael Sporn.

First off, I officially disqualify meself, cuz I’ve been to the fest about 15 times now. Secondly, why are there no posted comments here yet? This is one of the biggest, best fests in the world. The parties, the screenings, the Animator’s Picnic (pumpkin carvin’ contest, featurin’ free booze!) Here’s some startling evidence:

Hey, passes to Ottawa are awesome. I just learned about this website, I’m really surprised that there aren’t a thousand comments by now. I’ve never been to Ottawa Animation Festival, but I heard that its a really great festival. Being a animator recently out of college I really want to go, I’ve been making plans to go for a while now.

I have been trying to go to this festival for years! I have been so swamped with work, but I really want to produce my short film to enter in the fest one day. I’d love to see what this thing is all about, as well as meet other film makers who could inspire me to get off my but and make something happen. I have some vacation time I could use for next week, so the pass would be a great help. Good luck to everyone.
