One of the most amazing feats of design, engineering and construction ever accomplished, its story is a unique mix of cutting edge technology, traditional ideals, strong nationalist determination and stacks of massive machinery, huge forces and mega-construction. The story will follow the building of Taipei 101, from its early inception to the remarkable raising of its 470 tonne pinnacle.
