Strengths:
Striking and orignal appearance. The way the instrument opens out when you click on it is dramatic and enaging. Clicking on each string produces a different loooped sound with an associated graphic effect. There is an overall style that links the sounds and graphics. there is enough here to hold attention for the required 3 minutes. Demonstrates capability to proram interactive graphics and sound in actionscript.

Weaknesses:
There is only 1 form of interactivity (point'n'click) whereas the brief called for 3 forms. Some of the graphics are in a 3d shaded style that is not cohesive with the rest of the visual language in the interface. Likewise the #@$%#king birds don't really fit in the style of the rest of the sound palette.
Opportunities:
As WeaponX comments below, the interface inspires other forms fo interactivity - such as stroking across the strings. There is room to develop the production on some of the animated graphics adn and sounds, and create a more stylistically coherent piece.

Overall:
A dramatic looking and sounding interface with an unusual and effective symbol-based metaphor. Demonstrates technical skills with actionscript but needs to include more forms of interactivty.

Strengths:
Very original idea. Good variation of animations for each sound. Original selection of sounds.
Weaknesses:
The background colour, maybe try using a more subtle gradient change.
Opportunities:
Would be cool to be able to sort of strum across the strings, not sure how possible this is though. Also maybe an option to close the ying-yang symbol back up again.
Overall:
Very interesting and original idea, well coded and good sounds.
