assessment

Strengths: This soundtoy is an example of remixing as a way of creatively listening to the music of a favourite band. The simple but striking graphics and icons of band members attract attention and made me curious to hear what it sounds like. I stayed engaged for much more than 3 minutes as I explored the drag'n'drop, +/- buttons, and menu interaction options. From what I can work out the horizontal position is left/right pan, vertical position above the line is temporal sequence, the moving line is the play head, and the button effect the duration of each channel segment. Demonstrates 3 kinds of interaction and technical ability to control sounds in flash.
Weaknesses:
Its hard to clickon the letters in the pull down menu. R randomises the layout, P pauses. Q and S don't seeem to do anything.
Overall:
Creative, Engaging, Interactive, Good Production, Technically sound, appropriate credits - well done.
