Mmmm... definitely needs some melty butter! I second the appreciation for the reflection on the toaster and all that - makes it feel as if they're really there. I think it would be funny, though, if towards the end another piece popped out of the toaster, all toasty warm and steaming slightly, and added to the sign waving crowd.

Love You Toast vs Angry Toast
Just wanted to clear something up as floppys has suggested I might have copied Angry Toast, which hurts 'cos I'm a sensitive animator! Animation, as everyone knows, takes a long time to do, even with computers! Angry Toast was uploaded on the 28th june and Love You Toast on the 30th. Even if i'd seen Angry Toast before, which i hadn't, there's no way i could have animated, rendered and composited it in two days! The Hi Def rendering of the beauty pass alone took a week!! And thats without the two reflection passes and an abient occlusion pass! Thanks for your comments though.

Great stuff!
Personally I'd still scrape off the burnt bits with a butter knife and cut the crusts off before I eat them, but that's just me... and it has no bearing on your work. These short cute wholesome movies always seem to work better with an english accent, which might also be me because my parents are english... hmm... I think the best thing to do is disregard these comments and get on with your day, they are rubbish... but I liked it, a lot. Really!
