i'm still in the running....

i found out today that the site that i FINALLY got this video clip uploaded to, though i didnt win the semifinalists who get money group, it is one of their 58 runners up, under their top favorites for the Radiohead contest...so i am still vying for a spot for the grand prize: i have to finish a minute of it of course...but i could still have a shot at it...its what they call the golden ticket ...they have three spots, and i have two entries that both made it in their top favorites category.....thats TWO...so hopefully i finish a minute of them both this week, and upload them, and i will have a shot at one of those tickets....y'all message me and i will give you the site to check them out....

i would like to however....

( i can only laugh it off, being that i didnt get to enter the contest for which i created it.) the main point of the video it was supposed to become was what i got from the song, which i felt was about missed opportunities.
kinda ironic....

yay!

that's my FAVORITE song off in rainbows...it totally gets me.

you've done a great job here - i think it's something you could/should continue to work on since you've already put so much hard work into it. no deadlines or pressure, just an awesome animation to a wonderful song, you know?

by the way, it IS an ANIMATIC.....not a full animation.

is case some people aren't aware, this is not a full animation, it is just an animatic, which has limited animation in it , which helps the storyboard convey the story it is supposed to be telling. and yes, i forgot to add the moth in the second scene, when the song begins. oops...
but after four tiring days of almost nonstop work, drawing every single element in it, and handdrafting every single animation frame by frame, and getting it to play exactly to the song length(that was the toughest portion), i was just ready to upload it somewhere....
i think i slept like four hours every day i was working on it, and worked about 16 hours a day, trying to get it sequenced just right....i think i spent too much time trying to perfect the animation, and playing it back to make sure it ran to the points i wanted it to reach, or close to it....
anyway, i am disappointed that i cannot even place in that contest, since i cannot upload it to the site it was supposed to be posted at. but at the very least, i attempted something that i am fairly happy with, at the end of it all. it was totally worth seeing the end result of my hard work. i would have liked to see it completed and not just line art....sigh....oh well.

thanks!

i had three days of almost no sleep just getting it to the point it is now.
i tried over a hundred diffrent ways of saving that file to upload to the contest site, and it never would upload there(after a hundred and fifty attempts to upload it, i gave up.) but it did upload fine here on my first attempt. so, go figure.
