This is a collection of my work since graduating from high school. I made this starting into my first freshman semester at CU-Denver in the Digital Animation Center. All of the animation is done in Maya, with most of it rendered in Mental Ray and the fluid simulations handled by RealFlow. The song is the work of Uematsu Nobuo, his piece; Tenrai ~Divinity I~
I think it's awesome, especially the rigid body dynamic animations and the particle effects. It is a tad long for an animation portfolio reel, but I think it's awesome! Gongratulations and continue making animations.
Music and cut's timing were superlative. The reason you couldn't find any other music is because this piece works perfect with your work. Like I said, Kickin work!
Yeah, when I first started editing it to the song I thought it might be a touch overbearingly energetic and epic, but I listened to days of music and couldn't find a song I wanted to use more. :P Thanks guys, I'm glad you liked it!
I agree with Josuee. It felt like I was watching a trailer for some sweeping disaster (or scifi) epic. An epic that was very well animated, I should say.
