It seems that a lot few people mentioned his fur, so if you are interested in knowing, none of his fur is dynamic, it is all animated by hand. He is basically a sphere with 4 of the rings extruded. Those extrusions have a hand painted fur texture on them and then i control each of those rings with a cluster. Here's the trick now...you only need to animate one of the clusters and copy the animation from that onto the others and offset them.
I like this toon very much. The blue animal is really funny, I love the fur changes and the noises linked to the movements. I like those long legs. One improvment could be to slightly slow down the big egg or have a zoom out before the big egg falls down so we have time to see it coming from the top. But speed is part of the funny result..so don't change anything !
