One thing that always bothers me about opening credits for movies that
are made to appeal to children (or at least appear to) is the level of
tastefulness and dignity given to the presentation; this meets my
standards. :D It's lighthearted and whimsical without falling into
silliness and absurdity.
The add-on:
Now the reappearance of a paper airplane every few shots makes perfect sense, since they began airing the teaser that mentions that Mr. Magorium invented the paper airplane. Another thing about this animation is that it inspires me to want to go see this movie more than any of the TV commercials and teasers have done.
